Sunday Of Many Things

Another weekend of girls and boys basketball. Friday night was an exciting evening with the boys winning their next to the last game for the season before tourment time. Saturday morning we traveled about a hour for Regional games to see our girls play in the first game of the morning at 10:30 AM. Though they played a well fought game they lost the game. I was so proud of them as they left the floor with the heads up.

Hubby and I stayed for the second game where a Christian School from Fort Wayne,IN upset the No. 1 team who had been unbeaten for 46 games in our region. The game was exciting and well fought by both teams.

Then at 8:30 PM the team that beat our girls and the Christian School played their hearts out to the final busser. The Christian School won and upset the No. 2 school in our region. During the last minute a girl from the Christian School was serious hurt and after half an hour was taken off the floor with her head banaged. At this time we do not know how she is so my pray is that everything is alright and she will be able to play next Saturday in the Semi State

I love reading the messages on T-Shirts and I saw one at the basketball game that has a good meaning on what makes a champion.

"Champions aren't made in the gyms,
Champions are made from sonething they
Have deep inside them
1. A Dream
2. A Desire
3. A Vision"

Good Morning Joyce,
I'm so glad yall had a good time on Saturday at the Basketball Games. I miss our oldest daughter playing, but Softball Season is up now and we will be doing some traveling to those games. They get tiresome after a while, but when they are over with, you do miss it. I sure hope the girl that got hurt is okay. I will say a prayer for her as well. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
