Tonight is Senior night for the High School Boys. I am a little scared about going. Last Saturday night at the boys game one of the boys fathers turned around and told me to shut up. I love cherring for the boys and the girls and I felt so embarassed and almost started to cry. God spoke and I new to not say a word to the man. Many of the parents came up after the game telling me that they have enjoyed hearing me cheer for their sons and they want me to continue. I have a voice that carries around a room. I am learning to quiet it down in certain places, but the basketball game tonight I will let it soar for the joy of the game. Pray for me that I will be Christ like and show joy in watching a group of young men play their very best.

Good Afternoon Joyce,
I will pray that you will cheer in a Christ like manner tonight. That guy shouldn't have told you to shut up. That was so rude of him doing that. I know I love to cheer on our team when our daughter was playing basketball. There has been times that I know I got carried away, but I just couldn't help it. "GOOD LUCK" to the boys tonight. I do hope they win. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
Joyce, that was very rude and mean of that person to tell you to shut up. I am afraid I would not have handled it as well as you did, but acted in a very Christian like manner.
I have a very dear friend who also has a voice "that carries" , especially when she laughs. I have overheard some rude people make comments about her voice behind her back in whispering tones. I spoke up once and said at least what Carol has to say doesn't have to be spoken in a lower voice. Cheer on mom!
