I received this as an e-mail from a friend and had to share it with you. Enjoy and you read.
The Lord's Ballgame
THE LORD'S BASEBALL GAME
Freddy and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team.
The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it wa s the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up
to the plate named 'Love.'
Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because 'Love never fails.'
The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works with Love.
The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch.
Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass: Ball one.
Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked because he never swings at what Satan t hrows.
The bases were now loaded. The Lord then turned to Freddy and told him He was now going to bring in His
star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Freddy said, 'He sure doesn't look like much!'
Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace.
Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen! But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by.
He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground;
The roaring crowds went wild as the ball
Continued over the fence . . For a home run!
The Lord's team
won!
The Lord then asked Freddy if he knew why Love , Faith and Godly Wisdom could get on base but couldn't win the game. Freddy answered that he didn't know why.
The Lord explained, 'If your love, faith and wisdom had won the game, you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, Faith and Wisdom will get you on
base but only My Grace can get you Home:
'For by Grace are you saved, it is a gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.' Ephesians 2:8-9
Psalm 84:11, 'For the Lord God is a sun and
shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good
thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.'
Jesus' Test
This is an easy test; you score 100 or zero. It's your choice. If you aren't ashamed to do this, please follow the directions. Jesus said, 'If you are ashamed
of me, I will be ashamed of you before my Father.'
Not ashamed!! Pass this on, if you mean it.
, I do Love God. He is my source
of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and ever yday.
Without Him, I am nothing, but with him:
'I can do all things
through Christ
Who strengthens me.'
Phil 4:13
This is the simplest test . . If you Love God,
And are not ashamed of all the great
things He has done for you. Send this to a few
friends

In a past post I told you about a Ladies Day I attended at Youth Haven Camp in Michigan. At the time I became a Muck Ox Pray Warrior. Today I was on Donna Partow's blog and She shared the statement to become a Pray Warrior. So I am sharing with you and after reading the statement I pray you will want to become one too.
I have been chosen by God.
He has called me
to be a spiritual warrior
in my own home
in my church & community
in this nation
even to the very ends of the earth.
In this critical hour
I take my stand
and I declare:
No devil in hell
No porcupine on earth
Nothing and no one
Can thwart God’s good plan for me.
As long as…….
I choose to walk in peace.
With my soul at rest
and my body in motion.
I have absolute confidence
in my Father’s loving care.
God’s got my back.
I am standing in the gap
And I will not be moved.
I will fight battles worth fighting
And tell stories worth telling.
Because I am – and always will remain –
A Mighty Musk Ox Prayer Warrior Princess!

Praying for a Child
This pray is from the Pray for the Children site. I have had this young man on my heart for many years. He seem to find friends who are not the best to be around. Now He is in trouble for stealing a four-wheeler from a neighbor.
I pray that James will choose to use speech that glorifies You. Fill his/her heart with Your Spirit and Your truth so that what overflows from his/her mouth will be words of life and not death. Put a monitor over his/her mouth so that every temptation to use profane, negative, cruel, hurtful, uncaring, unloving, or compassionless language would pierce his/her spirit and make him/her feel uncomfortable.

Treasures of Living

Yesterday our Church bulletin had a picture of a jewelery box with jewels laying on the top and Linda E. Knight wrote "Appreciate this moment. Celebrate the here and now. Look up at the universe and breathe your praise to God, for another day, for another dawn, for another gift of living." The treasure I saw came true for me today. The picture of the cross at the beginning of this post was taken by my camera phone at a Methodist Country Church that had been closes since 1975. A group of individuals from the farming neighborhood have decided to repair the Church which was built in 1872 at a cost of $2,400. In 1979 a Lady of the area had the foresight to get the Church building on the National Register of Historic Places. I wish I could have taken a picture of the Church, but the lighting was all wrong for my little camera. This Church is a treasure of the living of this farming community.
To get the Church ready for this Memorial Day four college students and a professor, who is involved with the Historical Preservation Association, took ten straight days to clean, get rid of little four legged animals, and get electricity going for the presentation.

Friendship

This should probably be taped to your bathroom mirror where one could read it every day. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.
1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate youis because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.
11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
Good friends are like stars. You don't always see them, But you know they are always there.
"Whenever God Closes One Door He Always Opens Another, Even Though
Sometimes It's Hell in the Hallway"
I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend while I'm here than a whole truck load when I'm gone.
Happiness keeps You Sweet,
Trials keep You Strong,
Sorrows keep You Human,
Failures keeps You Humble,
Success keeps You Glowing,
But Only God keeps You Going

A Good Laugh
Thought you all might need a little chuckle today.
A plane was taking off from Kennedy Airport. After it reached a comfortable cruising altitude the Captain made an announcement over the intercom, Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to flight number 293, non-stop from New York to Los Angeles. The weather ahead is good and, therefore, we should have a smooth and uneventful flight. Now sit back and relax OH, MY GOD! Silence followed, and after a few minutes, the captain came back on the intercom and said, Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so sorry if I Scared you earlier. While I was talking to you, the flight attendant accidentally spilled a cup of hot coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants! A passenger in Coach yelled, That is nothing. You should see the back of mine!
Received this from a friend and it hit the spot when I needed a good laugh. You may need a good laugh right about now so feel free to laugh away.

Law of the Garbage Truck

I received this from a cousin of mine and it pricked my heart. I know I have a lot of garbage to dump and I pray I will have the courage to continue each day to do just that. Feel free to copy and paste to send it on to anyone you feel will receive a blessing from it.
The Law of the Garbage Truck
One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded , and missed the other car by just inches!
The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean he was really friendly. So I asked, “Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!" This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, "The Law of the Garbage Truck."
He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you. Don't take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don't take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.
The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life's too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so . . . . .
Love the people who treat you right. Pray for the ones who don't. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!
Have a blessed, garbage-free day.

A Day of This and That

Hello All, It has been a busy week for me. At the beginning of the week Hubby and I had to visit and show Dr. offices and Hospitals my new insurance card so they can begin the process of billing for all the medical stuff I had done in the past few months. Wednesday night we had a damaging storm with high winds, thunder and lightening for 2 hours. Around here many trees down. Thursday a friend and I drove to Youth Haven Camp in Rives Junction, MI for a Ladies Day. The speaker, Donna Partow, was unbelievable and I came away a Muck Ox Pray Warrior Princess for the Lord. The concept was that we as pray warriors are to circle around and protect the one being prayed for as the Muck Oxen do. On the way home we stopped in Lawrence, MI at the Waffle House to visit the Ladies Room which is one of the best decorated ones in the United States. The food is very good also. This is exit 52 on I-94. If you are ever in the area stop and see for yourself.

Before I Was A Mom

I received this from a cousin of mine and I want to share this with all Moms that read this. The poem made me cry and laugh. Happy Mothers Day to all Moms.
Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations
Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.
Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt..
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom..
Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.
Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay..
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom .
May you always be overwhelmed by the Grace of God rather than by the cares of life

Girl Friends Week

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says
"Oh GEE, She's up!"
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Love the ones who don't just because you can. Believe everything happens for a reason..
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it..Kiss slowly. Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy. He just promised it would be worth it.
Girlfriend I am only as strong as the coffee I drink, the hair spray I use and the friends I have.
To the cool women that have touched my life. Here's to you!
National Girlfriends Day
What would most of us do without our sisters,
confidants and shopping, lunching, and traveling girls?
Let's celebrate each other for each other's sake!
TO MY GIRLFRIENDS!
Be Happy!
It is good be a woman:

Lord Prop Us Up
LORD PROP US UP...
Every time I am asked to pray, I think of the old deacon who always prayed, 'Lord, prop us up on our leanin' side.' After hearing him pray that prayer many times, someone asked him why he prayed that prayer so fervently.
He answered, 'Well sir, you see, it's like this... I got an old barn out back. It's been there a long time; it's withstood a lot of weather; it's gone through a lot of storms, and it's stood for many years.
It's still standing. But one day I noticed it was leaning to one side a bit.
So I went and got some pine poles and propped it up on its leaning side so it wouldn't fall.

Then I got to thinking about that and how much I was like that old barn. I've been around a long time. I've withstood a lot of life's storms. I've withstood a lot of bad weather in life, I've withstood a lot of hard times, and I'm still standing too. But I find myself leaning to one side from time to time, so I like to ask the Lord to prop us up on our leaning side, 'cause I figure a lot of us get to leaning at times.

Sometimes we get to leaning toward anger, leaning toward bitterness, leaning toward hatred, leaning toward cussing, leaning toward a lot of things that we shouldn't. So we need to pray, 'Lord, prop us up on our leaning side, so we will stand straight and tall again, to glorify the Lord.''
If you stare at this barn for a second you will see who will help us stand straight and tall again.

A Sad Time
Many weeks ago I told all about the upcoming marriage of my oldest daughter. Two weeks ago she told us that she had postponed the wedding. They realized they had not gone through the proper steps of a relationship. Then last week she told us they had broken up. This is a time, as a Mom, I wish I lived closer so I could put my arms around Her and let Her cry if she needed to. Her sister lives closer and they have been in comunication with each other. So, with the Lord by Her side She will perservere and come out the other side in good shape.

Family, Friends, and Colleagues

I received this from a good friend and I want to share it with you. I love the country I live in and I believe there are many other Americans who love this country. I am not for sure who wrote these words so I can not give a name. You may or may not believe what these words have to say, that is your privilege.
Family, Friends, and Colleagues
II Chronicles 7:14
Our nation is/has been on the slippery slope for a long
time. If you look around you will find corruption, greed,
moral decay, and a steady move away from the things that
made us great. The principles upon which this nation was
founded are no longer our backbone. However, we can reverse
this trend.
In God's word he states, "If my people, who are called by
my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face
and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their
land."
I am convinced that we must pray for our nation and its
leaders and ask for forgiveness. So I ask you to join me
in this plea to our Lord.
Let me just add a quote from Ronald Reagan - "If we ever
forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a
nation gone under." I truly believe this is why the
United States of America is in the shape we are in today.
Most people, including far too many of our elected
politicians, have forgotten that we are one nation under
God! Let us as Christians stand up and remind people of
this. ~ Have a blessed day!
