A Foggy Monday

Hello everyone, In my part of Indiana the fog is like soup. The weather person said the visablilty is 150 feet and I believe that. Hubby and I attended a farmers meeting today and coming home was with pray all the way. Hubby decided that we would go out early for his birthday and so some business in a town not far from here and His meal was free. The fog got thicker so we got our food to go. Hubby ordered barbequ ribs with steamed vegetables and I ordered a hamburger steak with grilled onions and a baked potato.

This weekend was busy, but so interesting. Saturday with friends we attended a satilite seminar led by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend who have writeen books on the subject of Boundaries and training of how to be a loving person. Their web site is www.cloudtownsend.com. Every thing can be down loaded free. Then Hubby and I attended a boys basketball game. A very interesting game that was well fought, but our boys lost.

Sunday after a wonderful message from our Minister Hubby and I went out for lunch for His birthday. We set and looked at the Kankakee river flow past and Hubby enjoyed a free birthday meal and my meal was excelent. We were not home long when it was time for Sunday Night church. A small group is meeting and we began a study by Gary Chapman who has written "The Five Love Languages". This is going to be a study that will open our eyes and assist us to have a better marriage. It did not take long for me to know what Hubby's Love Language is.

I am sorry about the mispelled words. My spell check in not working.

Am I right to say that Dad's love language is quality time? That's what I've thought for quite a while. It was good to talk to you guys last night. I'm feeling about 80% better. The headache and queasiness are gone. My fever (which I didn't think I had) broke during the night. I'm still a bit lightheaded, though. I took a shower this afternoon, and that took a lot out of me. I've been enjoying the time to watch movies and play on the computer.

Love,
Carrie

Good Evening Joyce,
I do hope the fog has lifted by now. It has been foggy here the last couple of mornings also. The meal yall brought home sounds good. I bet it tasted good too. I love BBQ ribs and Hamburger Steak with grilled Onions. Oh, and I can't leave out the baked potato with butter and sour cream. It got up to 72 degrees here today and was windy. Not as windy as last week tho. We are suppose to have some very bad severe storms tomorrow they say. They are even talking about Tornadic activity. I sure hope not. I have been down in the dumps to day and didn't have the will power to do a post. I'm not sure if I will tomorrow either. I am having to deal with something and I don't really know what to do about it. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Good morning.... Tuesday here.. I am getting around late yesterday and today.... thunderstorms here today...... Strangest weather... should be cold outside and everything is budding out... just like Oklahoma to mess up the weather...it will freeze again and everything will be set back.. oh well... My spell check is also not working, must be the blogspot. I type everything in my word processor and then copy past .. and if you will copy past from the HTML it will keep the font that you typed it in..... soooo there is one way to do it.. you can also type it into an email message and copy paste. I cannot spell !!! so I have to rely on technology.... I also type in all my comments into an email message and copy paste.. and I bet you thought I was just a smart cookie !!! hahahhaha

Hey Mom,

Yeah, I agree with Carrie...definately quality time, no matter how short or long. Most normal people wouldn't drive 5 hours to be somewhere for an hour.
The weather people are calling for 8-12 inches of snow for tonight and tomorrow. Matt's excited. He likes to watch it snow and it reminds him of when he was a kid and waiting to see if school was going to be cancelled. I think its fun too until driving in it comes. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't delivering pizza, but some people don't always shovel and even the streets in town aren't always clear. Anyhow, talk to ya later. Tell Dad I said HI.

Love ya,
Michelle
