A Busy Thursday

I am sitting here looking out the window and say no snow, no snow, please no snow. It is 21 degrees with the wind blowing out out the northeast at 10 MPR. When I see the word east I think oh no, snow. The weather men are telling that we could get 3 to 10 inches. I am thankful the Lord is in control and we will get just what we need.

Today I attended a Farmers meeting to do with the Chicago Board Of Trade. I learned enough that I won't be trading any time soon. I am thankful for the visiting that was done with farmers I have not seen in the past few years. Also, the lunch was delousious.

Tonight Hubby and I are attending the last home game for the High School Girls. This is Senior Night and 3 girls will be honored. We have been blessed this year to meet many of the parents of the girls. These parents realized that for the past few years we have come out to support the team and they are saying thank you.

My Son-In-Law received a call from a church near them to come and be their Youth Minister. Would you pray for them? They love the church they are attending and this church is helping with class that Matt is taking to become an ordained youth minister. He has wanted to be a youth minister for a long time and He is wondering what to do. Both of them believe in the Lord and they are praying and want pray concering this. Thank you for your prays and I know God will answer for what is best.

Good Afternoon Joyce,
I hope you don't get alot of Snow there. We have been under a Winter Storm Warning since 4:00a.m. They let School out early here today at 11:30a.m. We did see some Snow, Sleet, and Rain all mixed together. It was more Sleet and Rain than anything. It has been raining most of the day as well. Places North and West of us has received some Snow, but not us. I really don't know why they even let School out here. It wasn't slick out there. It's 33 degrees here now. Yall have fun at the Basketball game tonight. If it's Snowing, yall be careful and take your time. GOOD LUCK to your home team. I'm glad that the parents have noticed yall. I know they appreciate yall coming out to support the team. Glad you got to see some farmers you hadn't seen in a while and enjoyed a meal with them. I always like to fellowship with other people. I will be praying for your Son, Matt. GOD will show him the right direction. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I believe that the Lord will confirm His word to your son-in-law and show him where He is leading.. I do not think that the will of God is out there somewhere and hard for us to know.. He is more interested in us going the right way and He will confirm His word to that young man...... How wonderful to be stepping out into the will of God and enbarking on such a wonderful journey...

I can relate to your weather. We are expecting 2-4 inches of snow after we get 1/4-1/2 inch of freezing rain tonight. Oh, well, I may get a day off work tomorow. Now that would be a real blessing! Your daughter stopped by but did not leave an url. Tell her thank you for me. Blessings, Cricket
