I want to preface this post with a statement. I believe in what I will be quoting in this post. Many of you know that this is Sanctity of Life Sunday. Many will say AMEN and others will say something not so good. Through an insert in our Sunday Church Bulletin I was convicted to pass it on. The web site is www.protectinglife.com. It is an Indiana site for the Right to Life. Feel free to investigate. I was going to upload an article, but it is to large for my computer so I will quote from it.
"Daisies, peonies, snapdragons and sunflowers. And roses in the morning dew. The beautiful array of shape, color, and fragrance is a wonderful reminder of God's great creativity and loving kindness. As Jesus told his disciples, not even King Solomon's glory compares to the beauty of lilies in the field.
Just like flowers, God creates no two children alike. Even while still in the womb, He weaves each child together with the love and skill of a master craftsman. And when we realize that each human life is created in His image, we begin to understand that life is even more beautiful than a field of sunflowers in the summer twilight.
But like a brilliant red rose trampled underfoot, the lives of over one million children are discarded each year in our nation because they are labeled as inconvenient, imperfect, or unwanted. It is when we think of these little ones that we will do well to remember the words of Mother Teresa when she said, "Too many children? That is like saying there are too many flowers."
This year, as we observe Sanctity of Life Sunday, Please remember to pray that women considering abortion will choose life instead. Pray for the defenseless unborn children that they may live. Pray that the hearts of our state and national leaders will be moved to protect the right to life of unborn children.
And pray that God will place within you a thankfulness for the gift of life and a willingness to defend the right of life of those who have no voice."
Thank you for allowing me to quote from the web site. I do not know what you believe, but I believe in life and life begins at conception. I can hear the What If's. What if of rape, or of a defect or safety of the women or other what if's. I know of individual couples who can not have children and would love to adopt. The few people I know would love the normal child, as well as, the child with a disability.

I could not agree more with your position on the right to life. Psalm 139 tells us just how God KNOWS us...even in the womb. This was a really good post. Also, here is the recipe you asked for:
Crisp Sugar Cookies
2/3 cup butter softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 Tablespoon milk
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
Mix together first five ingredients. Then combine last four together and add them. Mix well. Chill for about an hour. Roll out thin and cut with cookie cutter. I sprinkle a little colered sugar on these before baking. Bake at 350 for 6 to 8 minutes. Edges will be golden. Eat and enjoy! Almost calorie free...LOL Have a great day!
That was a good posting for today, Joyce.
I believe in the right to life and am against abortion.
Awesome post! Right to Life....the only way!
I say Amen. And I've known 2 people who had "what if's". Everything turned out great. The children were such blessings to them.(If the mothers decided to have abortions, they would have heaped more pain and hurt onto the pile.)
I have to comment on this, I read it yesterday and forgot to come back and comment....... Murder is murder and God does not wink at sin.... It is hard to imagine that the world has slipped into such a state that we kill people by the millions....... I lost a child in 1967...... I still think of that child and I know that one day I will reunite with him or her..... Do we not realize that these children are living breathing souls the split second of conception......... Great Post and we need to be able to speak out on the truth of what we believe.........
I say AMEN to this. Excellent post!!
