Who Is At The Center

Who is at the center of your life? I received this e-mail from a friend and the question was ask about what is the center of the Bible. If God is not at the center of my life, what difference does it make of what is the center point of the Bible. Food for thought.

Center of the Bible

Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?
A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?
A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118
Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118
Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q:? What is the center verse in the Bible?
A: Psalms 118:8

Q:? Does this verse say something significant about God's perfect will
for our lives?

The next time someone says they would like to find
God's perfect will for their lives and that they want to
be in the center of His will, just send them to the
center of His Word!

Psalms 118:8
"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."
Now isn't that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?

"Father God bless my friend in whatever it is that you know
he/she may be needing this day!?
May his/her life be full of your peace,
prosperity and power as he/she seeks to have a
closer relationship with You.
Amen"

When things get tough, always remember...
Faith doesn't get you around trouble, it gets you through it !!
God Bless You!

I cooked Homemade Soup for me and the girl's supper tonight. We had crackers to go with it. It is suppose to turn colder here again tomorrow night. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.

I have seen that many times before and each time I read it I am blown away by the things that the Father God has woven into His Word... It is HIS WORD and if we look close enough HE gives us subtle hints that HE is there and so wants us all to know HIM.... It is no accident that the scriptures take on life of its own and it is no accident that The Father God places in HIS word gold nuggets just waiting to be discovered.............. How wonderful is that...............

Lots of wisdom in those words, Joyce.

I like to think God is the center of my life. One thing for sure, I am always trying to make Him the center of my life.
