Good day to all. Life has been busy and this morning I had time to read some of my e-mails and came across a poem. A friend had sent it and with what has been happening with the weather lately I just has to pass it on. The author is unknown, but he or she must be from Indiana to relay in words what I feel right now. If you have not figured it out, I want Spring and I want it now.
INDIANA POEM
It's winter in Indiana
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love Indiana
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Indiana
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!

Good Morning Joyce,
That is such a beautiful poem. "THANK YOU" for sharing it with us. Since I don't live in Indiana, I can only imagine how you are feeling right now. I have seen on The Weather Channel where yall have had lots of Snow this Winter. We finally got SNOW here yesterday and last night. It started around 11:30a.m. and I went to bed early last night and it was still snowing, so I don't know what time it quite. I do know by 3:30p.m. yesterday afternoon, there was quite a bit out there and the girls went out to play in it for a while. My DH made it home around 3:30p.m. from Memphis as well and him and the girls tried making a Snowman, but the Snow was too wet. Hopefully they can make one today. It doesn't look like we will get to move today as we have so much Snow. I'm guessing we may have around 5 or 6 inches. I was going to take pictures of it yesterday afternoon with my new camera, but I had to charge the batteries up. I plan on taking some pictures today if we don't move. I'll just have to wait and see what my DH wants to do when he gets up. If we don't move, I'll show some of the pictures tomorrow. They let School out here yesterday afternoon around 12:15p.m. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
