Today 39 years ago I married my Husband in Sheldon, Illinois at 2:00 PM on a beautiful sun shining Saturday afternoon. The cost of the wedding and reception came to under $500. I know that today we could not have gotten married on that cost. We are celebrating with a dinner and a Southern Gospel Concert.

"HAPPY BELATED 39th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY" to you and your hubby. Weddings these days do cost alot, and I can't remember how much we spent when me and my DH got married. We paid for everything except for some silk flowers and arrangements that my Mother had made for the wedding. I think it would be better to elope now a days. LOL.
