Give __James__ a good mind, a teachable spirit, and an ability to learn. Instill in them a desire to attain knowledge and skill, and may they have joy in the process. Above all, I pray that they will be taught by You, for Your Word says that when our children are taught by You they are guaranteed peace. You have also said, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction" (Proverbs 1:7). May they never be a fool and turn away from learning, but rather may they turn to You for the knowledge they need.
All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. Isaiah 54:13
A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel. Proverbs 1:5
James is a teenager who got into some trouble for the third or fourth time and a judge put him in a secured home for boys with counselors. He has an anger in him that needs to come out. I am praying that he will trust one of the counselors enough to tell what is really the problem and get it worked out. I know he can become a wonderful young man and do great things in and with his life. If you know of a teen in trouble please pray for them.
