What a wonderful weekend this has been. The 45th Fall Festival happened with mostly very good weather in Franceville, In. Rain came just as the parade started and most of us made it to safety after getting soaked. I live about 6 miles in the country so I went home to change into dryer clothes. This was the first rain in the 45 years of the Festival. Saturday was a day of visiting with friends, seeing just the most beautiful babies, getting hugs from young adults who are friends with my children, getting to congratulate a couple who are newly married, and on the sad side a friend telling me his wife is very ill and has been diagnosed with the beginning stages of altimeters at the age of 55. Now about the food stands. Hubby and I shared a giant tenderloin, curly fries, and a blooming onion.
Today has been a day of taking a nap and watching football on the TV after attending Church and hearing about Prison ministry from a very interesting man. The Bears win. the Colts play tonight.
